Grab the family and pour some hot cocoa in your travel mugs- these local drive-through holiday lights experiences will warm your hearts without anyone having to bear the cold.

CHRISTMAS NIGHTS OF LIGHTS

HOLIDAY IN LIGHTS

Don’t miss this Cincinnati holiday tradition- all from the comfort of the car! Families can listen to holiday tunes while driving an illuminating 1 mile drive-through experience featuring over 1 million lights and over 250 holiday light displays. November 19 – December 30 including Dec 24 & 25. JOURNEY BOREALIS HOLIDAY LIGHT SHOW 

Gather the family and get ready for a 2.5 mile drive-through experience like no other! Journey Borealis showcases over 1 million lights and absolutely amazing holiday installations by regional artists including Brave Berlin, creator of BLINK. The 2021 soundtrack will feature the Butler Philharmonic Orchestra, and Cincinnati Boychoir. This years show includes an expanded route, new lights, new music but the same nostalgic experience. LAND OF ILLUSION CHRISTMAS GLOW 

Visit Land of Illusion for their 5th annual Christmas Glow to experience over 3.8 million twinkling lights that span a 2-mile drive. Families can stay warm in the comfort of their cars while enjoying the wonders of the world and making magical memories. Need to do some holiday shopping? Hit up the Christmas Village. Of course kids will want to visit with the big man himself at Santa’s Workshop. Then top the visit off with a visit to the petting zoo. Nov 24 – Dec 30; Closed Nov 29 and 30, Dec 1 and 25. FREE LIGHT UP MIDDLETOWN 

Tis’ the season to be jolly during Light Up Middletown’s 22nd year! Enjoy twinkling holiday lights while driving through this beautiful 100-acre park. Open in all weather and holidays. Admission donations will benefit Middletown City Parks. LIGHT UP THE FAIR 

Head down to the fairgrounds for a fun family event; this dazzling drive-through experience has expanded this year now with over 2 miles of holiday lights – over a half a million to be exact – and is set to synchronized holiday music. Tips to get the most out of your holiday lights drive-through experience:

-Bring some hot cocoa and cookies to enjoy during the drive! 

-Two words: wet wipes in case of a spill.

-Drive-through holiday light experiences get crowded on weekends. Avoid lines by visiting during the week! 

-Bring a credit card! Some holiday lights experiences are credit card only this year. 

-Don’t forget to tune your car radio to listen to accompanying holiday music!
