Head to Baker Hunt for a fun Friday morning  story time featuring Up to My Knees by Grace Lin.

FRIDAY, APRIL 24

ART AND STORYTIME
10-11:30 a.m. @ Baker Hunt Art and Cultural Center
Children ages 4-6 and their siblings can enjoy a weekly story read by a guest storyteller followed by themed art activities led by a Baker Hunt instructor. The free program encourages creativity and early literacy, with outdoor playtime included. Hear the story “Up to My Knees” by Grace Lin, and do fun art activities.

PLAYDATE CAFE
9-10 AM @ Cheviot Branch
Play is a crucial part of building literacy and social skills, so join us for a playdate at the library before it opens! There will be opportunities for imagination and skill building, plus socialization for both children and caregivers. Light refreshments will be provided.

FRIDAY PLAYDATES
10 AM-noon @ Delhi Township Branch
Ages 1-6 years old can enjoy a variety of toys and time with friends to develop social emotional skills.

FAMILY STORYTIME
10:30-11 AM @ Downtown Main Library
Join in on this weekly library time featuring puppets, songs, and stories.

STORYTIME ON THE FARM
10:30-11:15 AM @ Winton Woods
Fridays mean storytime and so much more down on the farm! Each week will highlight a different themed story and there will also be fun themed activities which could be crafts, sensory play, or games.
A valid vehicle permit is required for park entry.

SWITCH GAMES
3-5 PM @ Price Hill Branch
4-5 p.m. @ Covedale Branch
Afterschool, kids can gather and play some Smash Bros or Mario Kart with friends.

STEP BY STEP 
5-8 p.m. @ Fountain Square
Ready to step into something new this spring? Come learn a new dance technique each week with Two Step.

Visit Art & Earth Day at Pyramid Hill on 4/25 for tons of fun, including a family-friendly lecture on exploring creeks with Butler County Soil & Water at 10 a.m.

SATURDAY, APRIL 25

ART & EARTH DAY
9 a.m.-5 p.m. @ Pyramid Hill & Sculpture Museum
This full day of activities, education, and demonstrations celebrates Earth Day, Arbor Day, and International Sculpture Day. There will be interactive crafts for kids and workshop demos for all ages.

ASIAN FOOD FEST
11 a.m.-10 p.m. @ Court Street Plaza
Enjoy authentic Asian cuisine, cultural performances, and family-friendly activities during the 15th annual festival celebrating Asian culture and community. Click here for the full entertainment lineup. 

EARTH DAY WEEKEND AT CINCINNATI NATURE CENTER 
9 a.m.-5 p.m. @ Cincinnati Nature Center
Enjoy free admission to CNC to celebrate Earth Day! Check out fun programming like:
Bug Party in the Nature PlayScape from 10-11 a.m.
Make a Willow Star in the Rowe Visitor Center from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Plant a pot for a buck, yes $1 cash will get your family a new plant to grow at home. 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. in the Rowe Visitor Center
Native Fish Feeding & Red-eared Slider Turtle Feeding from 10-10:15 a.m. in the Rowe Visitor Center

FAMILY HIKE
10-11 a.m. @ Wyoming Recreation Center
Families can enjoy a guided hike while exploring nature and learning about the local environment. Registration required. 

BURNET WOODS SPRING FEST 2026 
11 a.m.-3 p.m. @ Burnet Woods
Nature focused fun including tree and wildflower walks, music, yoga, bubbles, face painting and more. All for FREE.

FC CINCINNATI PRE-MATCH AT THE PARK
4-6:30 p.m. @ Washington Park
Join fans before the match for music, vendors, food trucks, and family-friendly activities ahead of FC Cincinnati’s home game. 

Visit the Fort Thomas Forest Conservancy’s Earth Day Event on Sunday at Tower Park.

SUNDAY, APRIL 26

EARTH DAY WEEKEND AT CINCINNATI NATURE CENTER
