Mermaids and Pirates return to Newport Aquarium

Arrrrrgh you ready to play with pirates and meet a mermaid? Be sure to welcome the mermaids back to the underwater paradise that is the Newport Aquarium during the opening weekend of Mermaids and Pirates. You can even meet a mermaid on dry land, so be sure to bring your camera!

 

If you are looking for an extra special experience, the Mermaid and Pirate party will be held Friday evening from 7 – 10 p.m. This party costs $29.99 ($24.99 for members) and includes dancing, appetizers and drinks, activities and an up close mermaid meet-and-greet.

 

There is also a public Mermaid overnight scheduled for October 12, and Mermaids and Pirates Breakfasts on October 7 & 12. Call or visit the Aquarium’s website for more info.

Got Milk Day at County Pumpkins Farm

It is starting to feel like fall in the tri-state, so why not spend a day down on the farm. During Got Milk Day you can meet a farmer, milk a cow and even have the opportunity to feed a baby calf. The County Pumpkin’s Fall Festival will also be going on, so there will be barrel train rides, hayrides, u-pick pumpkins, a corn maze and more for your family to enjoy.
