Easy and quick, and your kiddos will love it!
8 ounces rotini pasta
1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 pound ground Italian sausage
1 small onion, diced
1 (28-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
4 ounces sliced pepperoni
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Bring a large pot of water to a boil.Â Add pasta and cook until al dente.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the meat with onion until meat is brown.Â Drain.Â Combine meat mixture with sauce, pepperoni and cooked pasta.Â Pour into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.Â Top with cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes, until cheese is melted and golden brown.
If your family enjoys additional ingredients, you can add your other favorite pizza toppings like mushrooms, black olives, peppers, etc., to the mix.
