Gather up your pooches and head to MainStrasse Village for the 15th Annual Dog Costume Parade on Sunday, Oct. 23, beginning at 12:30 p.m.!
This year’s theme is “Your Favorite Fairytale.” Create a costume for you and your dog based on your favorite fairytale character and join the Pawrade, which begins at 2:30 p.m. in Goebel Park and meanders along the Sixth Street Promenade and back to the park. Registration takes place in the park — your $5 fee will benefit local charities. Plus, get a free doggie goodie bag!
Top prizes will be awarded for Best Original Costume, Best Store Bought Costume, and Best Theme Costume. Families can enjoy food, drinks, activities, booths and the MainStrasse Village Bazaar.
Pawrade is open to dogs only. All dogs must be on a leash, and proof of current rabies vaccination is required. For more details, call 859-491-0458 or visit mainstrasse.org.
