Mother Daughter Weekend Retreat

I enjoy doing things with just my daughter and also just with my son. I love the one on one time with each of them where they can get my full undivided attention. Coming in May, I will enjoy a weekend of bonding with just my daughter. We will be attending the My 31 Sisters Mother Daughter Retreat. We have placed the date on her calendar and she is already pumped and counting down the days…she doesn’t even know what we are going to do yet, but she knows she gets time with just mommy. The Mother Daughter retreat is scheduled for May 13 – 14, 2017.

The retreat is open to mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, and daughters of all ages. I was a bit worried that my 3 year old might be too young to attend the retreat with me, but after looking at the schedule of events, I know that she and I will have a blast! They have named a room the PRINCESS ROOM and I have a feeling that my little princess will never want to leave it or the fun activities planned for the room. For older girls (5-12 and 13-18) they have activities such as hiking, crafts, and speakers planned. There are also many outdoor activities planned such as canoeing, paddle boats, climbing walls and more. The evening consists of songs, a campfire (and s’mores of course!), worship concert, and a movie. I have a feeling my three year old is going to be excited to stay up past her bedtime and to snuggle with me when lights go out. I also think she is going to enjoy doing yoga and watching the talent show. I am most excited for the one on one bonding time with her.

“The weekend will be filled with fun activities, worship, speakers, and most of all relationship growth! It will also include a LIVE Worship Concert with City of Bright!”
