Through June 17, Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the gang are coming to life at Kings Island! The Peanuts Celebration will have guests feeling like they stepped into one of the comic strip pages of Charles M. Schulz with Peanuts Gang character appearances, photo opportunities throughout the park, delicious themed treats, and live shows!
Be sure to bring your camera when you visit the Peanuts Celebration; there will be many picture-perfect moments you are going to want to capture. With several large step-inside photo opportunities, and meet and greets with the Peanuts Gang, you will have many chances to snap a quick shot. Be sure to share your photos on social media, and tag #kipeanutscelebration and @kingsislandpr 🙂
During the Peanuts Celebration, there are TONS of chances to catch a live show at the Bandstand near the Eiffel Tower. Each day at 2pm the Peanuts Gang kicks off the celebration. There are also dance shows at this location at 2:30 and 4:30pm featuring Sally, Schroeder, and Snoopy. Or for a rocking evening show with Woodstock, report back to the bandstand at 7, 8:30, or 9:30pm. My family was able to catch Charlie Brown’s Hoedown from the petting zoo at 3pm, there are also shows at 4 and 5:30pm. We loved being able to make barnyard friends as we watched Charlie Brown and his friends put on a show; I’m sure your family will, too!
Other Peanuts Celebration activities include Sally’s Crafts, located in Planet Snoopy, and the Life and Art of Charles M. Schulz Museum, and Peanuts Sketch School located in the Enchanted Theatre. The sketch school provides guests the chance to learn how to draw a character through a drawing session with an artist, and an art historian guiding the way. We really enjoyed learning how to draw Snoopy! Sessions are on the hour from 2:30 to 8:30pm. And if you are a gold season pass holder, be sure to join the Peanuts Gang for special Sat/Sun parties from 9-10am in Planet Snoopy!
While the celebration lasts through June 17, your family can have fun at Planet Snoopy all summer long! Gold Season Passes are still available for purchase until July 4! Spend your summer days on rides like the Woodstock Express, Flying Ace Aerial Chase, and the Great Pumpkin Coaster. With your gold pass, have a frightfully fun Parents night out, date night at Halloween Haunt, and then come back with the family for WinterFest!
