Families are invited to join Grant County for the first ever Color Run at Grant County Park in Crittenden! Proceeds from the race, held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, will benefit The Family Nurturing Center, a non-profit dedicated to ending the cycle of child abuse.
Registration for the untimed race is 1 – 1:45 p.m. A brief opening ceremony takes place at 2 p.m., and the Color Fun Run begins at 2:10, 2:20 and 2:30 p.m. Families are welcome to bring strollers and wagons. Kids may join the 5K with their parents, or children ages 14 and younger may participate in the half-5K, designed especially for them! Teams are also welcome!
Be sure to wear a plain white t-shirt during the race so that all the fun colors you get to run through will adhere to your clothing! Stick around after your run for concessions, inflatables, a bicycle/motorcycle decorating contest, vendors and more.
