Egg-Citing Fun!

Easter celebrations are taking place all across the area, here are just a few to get you started!

The City of Ft. Thomas hosts a Spring Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4, at 12 p.m. at Tower Park (Douglas Drive).  More than 12,000 eggs and 900 prizes are up for grabs by little ones ages 1 – 8, along with face painting, pictures with the Easter Bunny and refreshments.  Visit ftthomas.org.

Head to Jane’s Saddlebag on Saturday, April 4, for the Boone Masonic Lodge Annual Easter Egg Hunt.  The hunt begins at 12 p.m. and continues until all the eggs are gone (kids are separated into age-appropriate groups).  Get a photo with the Easter Bunny and check out the general store and petting zoo.  The hunt is FREE at 13989 Ryle Road, Union.  Call 859-384-6617 or visit janessaddlebag.com.

Sign up for Easter egg hunts at the Campbell County Public Library.  On Saturday, March 28, little bunnies ages 0 – 6 hunt for eggs from 1 – 3 p.m. at the Cold Spring branch (3920 Alexandria Pike, 86-781-6166).  That same day, there will be an all ages egg hunt (kids will be divided into age groups) at the Newport branch (901 E. Sixth St., 859-572-5035) from 3 – 4 p.m. and requires advance registration.  Visit cc-pl.org.
