Join other families and over 40 vendors during the 11th Annual Boone County Early Childhood Fair! The fair is a great way to gather information about child care, health and wellness, education and more for ages 0 – 5. Tales, the library dragon will be on hand to meet and greet the kids and pose for photographs, while you enjoy activities together, and maybe even win a door prize!
Free screening opportunities are available by appointment from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (please call 859-342-2665, ext. 8138 to schedule), including vision screenings from the Kentucky Lions Club Kidsight program, and developmental screenings provided by the Boone County Community Early Childhood Council.
Free workshops for parents are also on the schedule, and include Preparing for Kindergarten at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m., and Speech and Language Development 101 at 11:30 a.m.
The Boone County Early Childhood Fair takes place on Saturday, February 7, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Main Branch of the Boone County Public Library (1786 Burlington Pike). For more details, visit bcpl.org.
