Spring has sprung and it is a wonderful time to celebrate our fabulous planet! Attending Earth Day events is a fabulous way to bring awareness and encourage curiosity within the family… plus, the events are a lot of fun, too!  Check out these great happenings taking place this month which celebrate reducing, reusing, recycling and community, too.

Sunday, April 19th

Greater Cincinnati Earth Day
noon-5 p.m. @ Washington Park
Celebrate “Green Cincinnati”. This exciting FREE event features a sustainability zone, resilience zone, and equity zone with fun activities, vendors, and more. Families can pick up a scavenger hunt and get their programs stamped at the Reds Booths listed on the event program and redeem their program for a fun prize. There will also be local food available for purchase, and live music throughout the day.

Wednesday, April 22nd

Community Day with Great Parks

Celebrate Earth Day by visiting one of the Great Parks. Guests can enjoy the parks and conservation areas without a Motor Vehicle Permit (aka FREE!).

CCA SPROUTFEST 
5:30-7 p.m. @ Cincinnati Center for AutismBloom is a spring community celebration highlighting both Earth Day and Autism awareness month. It will include art, plants, sensory-friendly activities, and hands-on experiences.

Thursday, April 24th

Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden Earth Day Celebration
5-8:30 p.m. @ Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden
Head to the zoo for Tunes & Blooms, a FREE, fun, educational evening at the zoo. There will be rockin’ live music and fabulous tulips, of course! Plus, a bonus Earth Day special: interactive stations hosted by the Horticulture, Sustainability, Conversation Impact, and Education teams that will teach how the Zoo helps the planet through hands-on activities and demonstrations.
