New Skilled Trades Education Center Opens
The Dever Family Foundation Skilled Trades Education Center is now open. The Dan Beard Council, which serves 12 counties in Ohio and NKY, hopes to educate the youth and fill a need for skilled trades workers in the fields of welding, automotive, metalworking/plumbing, carpentry/woodworking, electricity/electronics, and robotics. Greater Cincinnati businesses will be able to sponsor and teach classes in their industry’s expertise in the 9,200 sq. ft. Skilled Trades Education Center located at Camp Friedlander.
