Goetta has been a breakfast staple in the area since the arrival of early German immigrants, but thanks to fun festivals like the Mainstrasse Village Association’s 17th Annual Goettafest, it’s not just for breakfast anymore!
Head down to Mainstrasse Village’s Sixth Street Promenade for goetta cheeseburgers, brownies, chili, reuben sandwiches, tacos and more. Plus, don’t miss all the arts, crafts, music, live entertainment and children’s activities that have been planned.
Free parking is available in the IRS parking lot at Fourth and Johnson Streets. Goettafest takes places from 5 – 11 p.m. Friday, June 16; 12 – 11 p.m. Saturday, June 17; and 12 – 8 p.m. Sunday, June 18. Visit mainstrasse.org for more details.
