Target’s Car Seat Trade-In Program Returns

Our little ones are in car seats in order to keep them safe. Upgrade your car seat through Target's popular program.

It’s time to go out with the old, and in with the new through Target’s semi-annual Car Seat Trade-In program.

Now through Saturday, September 25, guests can head to their local Target store to trade in their old car seats and receive a 20 percent off coupon for a new seat, stroller or select baby gear when you trade in your old car seat with Target Circle.

Car seats will be recycled by Target’s partner, Waste Management, and transformed into new products such as pallets, plastic buckets and construction materials such as carpet padding.

Target’s Car Seat Trade In program began in April 2016 and since then has recycled more than 1,400,000 car seats, or more than 2.2 million pounds of plastic, and counting.

Coupons can be used in store or online and will be redeemable through October 2. To find a participating store, head to Target.com.
