California Woods Nature Preserve | 5400 Kellogg Ave., Cincinnati, Oh

This 113-acre forest boasts hills to hike, creeks to explore, 53 types of trees and 200 

species of herbaceous plants.

Sharon Woods | 11450 Lebanon Road, Sharonville, Oh     

There are paved trails and more advanced trails for adventurous families. Don’t miss the scenic waterfall.

Smale Park | West Mehring Way, Cincinnati, Oh 

Spend an afternoon wandering the trails near the riverfront. The paths are universally 

accessible, so the fun is for everyone. 

Voice of America MetroPark | 7850 VOA Park Drive, West Chester, Oh 

Grassland areas are designated an “Important Birding Area” by Audubon Ohio. Explore 

nature on the trails or paved paths around the lake. 

Winton Woods | 10245 Winton Road, Cincinnati, Oh 

Families love Parky’s Farm, but there are also more than 5 miles of paved trails, fitness and nature trails to discover at Winton Woods.
