With SO many awesome local businesses around town throwing Halloween happenings, there is still plenty of time to get in some fall fun with the family this season. Check your calendar and see what spooky excitement you can add to your list.
Thursday, October 23
Halloween on the Green
6-8 p.m. @ Village Park Green
Grab your trick-or-treat bag and get those costumes on; it’s time to Trick-or-Treat with Fairfield Parks and Recreation!
Pumpkin Walk
6-9 p.m. @ Tower Park in Fort Thomas, KY
Pumpkins as far as the eye can see and now with TWO Nights to enjoy the Halloween Fun! Walk among 500+ pumpkins, lights, characters, and activities in Tower Park!
Friday, October 24
Gateway Trunk or Treat
5:30-7 p.m. @ Gateway Community & Technical College, Boone Campus
Trick or treating, face painting, games, and more. This event is open to the community and all are welcome.
Haunted Village
6-10 p.m. @ Heritage Village Museum
Heritage Village Museum will transform into a Haunted Village for a family-friendly, slight-fright event. Trick-or-treat through the Village meeting ghosts, witches, a fortune teller, and the galloping ghoul along the way. Enjoy balloon art, games, face painting, a haunted house, the spooky trail, and more! There will be concessions available for purchase.
Advance online ticketing is $12 per person through October 3. Admission at the gate is $15 per person. Museum members and children under two are free and do not require a ticket.
Movie Night in the Park – Wicked
7 p.m. @ Goebel Park
Free entry and free popcorn make it the perfect way to celebrate spooky season.Don’t miss this wickedly fun night under the stars… if you dare.

Halloween Bash
Noon @ Drake Planetarium
Kick off the afternoon with the Fall Skies Over Cincinnati Live Star Show, where you’ll journey through the twinkling autumn night sky, guided by expert astronomers. Next, immerse yourself in a spooky, family-friendly full-dome Halloween show that’s sure to delight stargazers young and old. After the planetarium shows, the fun continues with games, prizes, tricks, and plenty of treats! Kids and families can enjoy Halloween-themed activities, including a dress-up contest—so come in your best costumes for a chance to win out-of-this-world prizes!

HallZOOween
noon-5 p.m. @ Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden
HallZOOween is FREE with Zoo Admission! Guests will be treated to a day of fun at the Cincinnati Zoo! Help the Zoo go green, please bring your own treat bag!

Get ready for a night of spooky fun and celestial wonders at the Cincinnati Observatory! Join us for Hocus Focus, a one-of-a-kind Halloween event that combines the magic of the season with the mysteries of the cosmos. Put on your best costume and explore our buildings and grounds, stopping by our trick-or-treat stations making your way through a thrilling scavenger hunt. As darkness falls, venture out on our spooky planet walk, where you can stroll through a scale model of the solar system. Step inside and listen to family-friendly talks about outer space. The event includes adult and children’s costume contests with freeze-dried candy prizes!
Cost: $12 adults and $7 members and kids; registration requested (not required)
Howl-O-Ween Hootenanny
noon-3 p.m. @ ArtsConnect Front Lawn
Kids can come dressed in costume for trunk-or-treating with local businesses. Explore the hay maze scavenger hunt, pick and paint your own mini pumpkin and enjoy face painting, crafts, and fun games outside throughout the day. Visit The Grove Event Center for glow golf and satisfy your cravings with hot chocolate, hot dogs, and popcorn at our indoor concession area. You won’t want to miss out on exciting family challenges hosted by our Halloween DJ and bring your costumed pet for the Howl-o-ween Pet Costume Contest at 2:00 PM. It’s a day of fun and festive activities for the whole family!
Monster Mash
3-6 p.m. @ Liberty Center
Families can go trick-or-treating at participating storefronts, see a spooky animal exhibit, listen to live music, see entertainment and make crafts.
Nature at Night Pumpkin Hike
6:30-8 p.m. @ Farbach-Werner Nature Preserve
Discover the wonders of nature at night as jack-o’-lanterns illuminate your path. Bring flashlights for a self-guided hike, then cozy up by the fire and soak in autumn air under the stars. Take home a carved pumpkin at the 8 p.m. pumpkin drawing!
Cost: $7 entry, $6 per pumpkin
Nature’s Tricks and Treats
6:30-8 p.m. @ Cincinnati Nature Center
Bring your flashlights and go on a fall escapade through our special nighttime trail, complete with treats, tricks, and surprises! Follow the map to play games, make crafts, and discover nocturnal animals. The truly adventurous (in spirit and heart) will win a prize for completing the trail. Costumes are encouraged.
Cost: $10-18
Pumpkin Patch
10 a.m.- 3 p.m. at Winton Woods Farm & Equestrian Center
Pick a perfect pumpkin from the Farm’s patch! After making your choice, stick around for fun fall activities like pumpkin decorating, face painting and a scavenger hunt.
Cost: $4 per pumpkin, register online or purchase on-site

Visit Blue Marble for a spooky craft day making a Halloween themed plate.

Trunks & Treats on the Trail
5-6:30 p.m. @ Millikin Woods
This fun, free event is fabulous for families. Dress up and collect treats from local organizations.
Thursday, October 30
Dalaween Trick or Treat
6-8 p.m. IKEA West Chester
Put on a costume and join in on a trick-or-treat adventure through the showrooms. There will be face painting and lots of candy!
Friday, October 31
Happy Halloween!
MOST local cities are doing trick-or-treating on Halloween from 6-8 p.m.; check with your city website to confirm
