HallZooween is a Greater Cincinnati Halloween tradition for many. Bring your little monsters and goblins to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden (3400 Vine St.) for trick-or-treat stations, Phil Dalton’s Theater of Illusion Shows, the Hogwarts Express Train Ride (additional fee applies), and the Scare-ousel (additional fee applies). Special animal encounters, like the Polar Bear Pumpkin Fun, take place throughout the day, so visit the web site before you go to get the full schedule. And be sure to catch the HallZooween movie, Pirates Plunge 4D, full of dueling pirate skeletons, exploding cannons, and plenty of fearsome creatures.
Plus, kids can search for the Golden Frisch’s Big Boy for their chance to win a prize. Two lucky visitors each day will receive a prize filled with Frisch’s and Zoo merchandise worth $150!
Kids are invited to help the Zoo go “green” by bringing their own trick-or-treat bags. HallZooween is open 12 – 5 p.m. weekends in October and is free with general admission: $15 ages 13 – 61, $11 ages 2 – 12 and ages 62 and older. Parking is an additional $9.
