Wednesday, December 6 

CELEBRATING SELF – THE JOY OF CHRISTMAS (register) Fa la la la la! Get ready to sing along with Miami University Associate Professor of Voice Ben Smolder. WINTER WONDERLAND SANTA EVENT (register) Wonderland Playground becomes a Winter Wonderland! Boys and girls can visit with Santa, enjoy Frosty’s Cocoa Corner, do a holiday craft and enjoy a pizza, too. EVERY CHRISTMAS STORY EVER TOLD (AND THEN SOME!)  Cincinnati Shakespeare Company’s holiday hit, Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!), is back again for another season of holiday hilarity! The Otto M. Budgig Theater, 1195 Elm Street, Cincinnati; 7:30 p.m.; tickets starting at $14; 513-381-2273. The show runs through December 30.

FREELIGHT UP COLLEGE HILL Spend an evening strolling the storefronts in College Hill; there will be a variety of holiday themed activities, a tree lighting and Santa’s workshop, too. HAPPY HOLIDAYS WITH THE MIGHTY WURLITZER Don’t miss this festive holiday treat for the entire family, with one-of-a-kind special effects and jingling bells that only the magical Mighty Wurlitzer can provide. Music Hall, 650 Walnut St., Cincinnati; 7 p.m.; tickets starting at $34 ; 513-621-2787. 

HOLIDAY TEAS Enjoy the finer things in life this holiday season! Listen to live music, sample tasty sweets and savory bites and sip on a fine selection of Churchill’s Teas. HOLIDAY POPS Experience the splendor of Music Hall decked out like a winter wonderland. Feel the warmth of Pops and local school performers bring  beloved holiday classics to life on the big stage.
