Need a coat hook to place lower for your child to reach? You can make a personalized one yourself with just a few things from Lowe’s and possibly around your home.

What You’ll Need
Coat hook (found ours at Lowe’s in the cabinet knob section)
Wood block (found ours at Lowe’s in the lumber section, it’s already white and they are called white casing blocks)
Self Hanging Hooks (like what you would find on the back of pictures)
Screwdriver
Hammer
Stickers

What You’ll Do

  1. We got the white casing block and a white robe hook to use. No need to spray paint them.
  2. You may need help with this part as you need to carefully screw the robe hook onto the casing block.
  3. Nail on the self hanging hook to the back. Most packages of these have built-in ruler on the back to make sure you have it centered.
  4. Now, the fun part for the kids. Allow them to decorate their own coat hook with stickers. You’re all done!
