Got a little one who loves to move and twirl and sway? Cincinnati Ballet’s kid classes — enrolling now — are designed to inspire a life-long love of dance for boys and girls ages 2 – 7. Through age-appropriate curriculum, children can build confidence and capacity while expanding imagination and artistic expression.
Cincinnati Ballet takes time to introduce the fundamentals of classical ballet, setting students up for success as they graduate into the Preparatory Division. For the fall classes, kids will be placed by their age as of September 1, 2023. Classes run September through May, in person at the Margaret and Michael Valentine Center for Dance, located at 1801 Gilbert Ave., Cincinnati.

Available classes include:
Petite Pas De Deux: For children ages 2 – 3 (as of 9/1) with a parent or caregiver.
Creative Dance 1: For age 3 (as of 9/1).
Creative Dance 2: For age 4 (as of 9/1)
Creative Dance 3: For ages 5 – 7 (as of 9/1)
Pre Ballet: For ages 6 – 7 (as of 9/1); includes a focus on classical ballet technique
Children’s Division Tap: For ages 4 – 7 (as of 9/1).
