Cincinnati Family Magazine Wins Awards!
The Parenting Media Association held their annual conference on November 6-7, 2025 in Chicago, Illinois. Nationwide publications gathered to share editorial ideas and brainstorm how to best serve their readers—families.
Each year, the conference convenes with an awards banquet to celebrate the best of the best in parenting media publications, with winners chosen by judges from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. Cincinnati Family Magazine was honored with three editorial awards.

Silver Award in Q&A Intereview for “Getting to Know Dorien Watson”
“This fun and surprisingly in-depth interview showed care and research on the part of the interviewer, to capture various aspects of its 13-year-old actor subject. It’s clear from the questions that this was an interactive and fluid interview, but the interviewer maintained a clear direction and the questions all flow together well.”
