Families can continue to support Child Abuse Prevention Month by signing up for the Family Nurturing Center’s Blue Ribbon 5K on Saturday, May 31. The chip-timed race begins and ends at General Cable (4 Tesseneer Drive, Highland Heights), and winds through the campus of Northern Kentucky University for some challenging hills. Awards will be given to top runners, walkers and even in a stroller division! A Kids Fun Lane opens at 9 a.m., with a Kids Fun Run beginning at 9:30 a.m., and the 5K kicking off at 10 a.m. Cost is $25 in advance and $30 on race day. Sign up at familynurture.org!
