This summer has certainly been one of the steamiest, so we don’t blame you for wanting to spend some time indoors. The tricky thing is finding some good spots where the kids can still get some of their never-ending pent up energy out, so we did the hard part for you. Here are five of our favorite local activity spots for those hot, sticky or even rainy days!

1. Duke Energy Children’s Museum
Ranked in the nation’s Top 10 Children’s Museums, Duke Energy is split into eight different themed and educational play areas for kids to climb, play and learn. The museum is open for kids of all ages, but it is also equipped with two play areas designed especially for those in pre-k and younger.

2. EnterTRAINment Junction
Equipped with the world’s largest indoor train display, a railroading museum, and an extensive children’s play area and funhouse, EnterTRAINment was voted Ohio’s Best Family Entertainment Center!

3. Rockin’ Jump The Ultimate Trampoline Park – Cincinnati
Known as one of America’s most popular recreation and fitness destinations, Rockin’ Jump Cincinnati, The Ultimate Trampoline Park is an indoor trampoline park where kids can jump into pools of foam cubes, play trampoline dodgeball, and perform their best flips and turns. This venue also hosts activities for groups and birthday parties.

4. Totter’s Otterville
This venue is a little more low-key and geared toward children ages 10 and under. Otterville is full of different play areas that provide you and your child the opportunity for interactive learning. The venue is open to a variety of groups such as camps, church groups and classes and birthday parties!

5. Pump It Up!
Pump It Up! is one of the most popular indoor inflatable play parks for kids. They are known for their fantastic birthday parties and group events. Their venue is super family-friendly and great for younger kids. They even have inflatables for the little tots in your life!
Admission: $8.00, $2.00 ages 2 and younger, free for parents
