Stop 1: Big Bone Lick State Historic Site

Enjoy the great outdoors and explore nature with a short walking trail. Seeing a bison herd grazing in the field is sure to be a family highlight—and be sure to look for the absolutely adorable bull calf, which was born on August 22nd. Big Bone Lick also has a museum, gift store, diorama pit, playgrounds and more.

Stop 2: Rabbit Hash General Store

Stop by this little town where the politicians are absolute dogs. Literally. The mayor of Rabbit Hash is a beautiful Bluetick Coonhound named Boone! After getting a walk in at Big Bone Lick, quench your thirst and grab a drink (and snack, and little tchotchke or whatnot) at the Rabbit Hash General Store. There are plenty of soda pop options, freshly popped popcorn, chips, treats and more in this adorably quaint general store. Gather your loot and secure a spot to sit by the river and relax for a spell.

Stop 3: Kinman Farm Market

Pick a pumpkin or mum from the market or embark on a full fall journey, starting September 20th. The fall festival fun runs Friday-Saturday-Sunday through October 26th and the event includes hayrides, a corn maze, music and more.
Cost: Fall Festival admission is $13/person, with ages 2 and younger free
