Pack a yummy picnic and bring the kids out to a a free outdoor concert series including the Madcap puppets Saturday, September 25 from 1 – 5 p.m. at Great Parks of Hamilton County’s Fernbank Park (50 Thornton Ave., Cincinnati), for Enjoy the Arts @ Parks monthly outdoor concert series.
Fernbank Park is located on Cincinnati’s west side, and kids of all ages will love this kid and family-friendly day filled with performances for everyone: first up, the Madcap Puppets with an engaging musical adventure featuring a meet-and-greet with the puppets and puppeteers; then the Cultural Centre of India will transport families to India followed by Revolution Dance Theatre; and finally The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati will take the stage with their Martin’s Dream performance.
This all-new, eight-month series is programmed during ArtsWave’s 2021 Campaign to help fund the arts. New ArtsWave donors and families who increase their last gift by 10 percent or more receive a free Great Parks of Hamilton County Motor Vehicle Permit, which allows free parking at all Great Parks throughout 2021, plus other benefits.
