All About Trains at Behringer-Crawford Museum

Train lovers of all ages are invited to the Behringer-Crawford Museum (1600 Montague Road, Covington) for their annual Holiday Toy Trains display, featuring over 25 stations, 250 feet of track, and 100 building and 250 figures depicting the streets of a 1940s city.  Kids can crawl through tunnels and view the display through pop-up bubbles that put them in right in the middle of the action.  This year’s special events include readings of The Polar Express on Sundays at 2 p.m. (reservations required), and a concert on Dec. 28 at 1 p.m. from Jake Speed featuring Songs of Rivers and Rails.  This month’s Tot Tuesday program is also all about trains — preschoolers and their adult companions can be a conductor for the morning, beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 17.  Admission to the museum is $7 adults, $6 seniors, and 44 ages 3 – 17; hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tue – Sat, and 1 – 5 p.m. Sun (closed on Mon).
