Get rid of red wax stains!

 

• To get red candlewax out of your table cloth: First, chill the wax stain with an ice cube in order to harden it. Then, place a paper towel on each side of the tablecloth where the stain is. Set your iron on “warm” and iron one side and then the other to help transfer the wax to the paper towel. Last, sponge the area with a liquid spot remover and let dry. Launder or dry clean.

 

• To get red Koolaid out of your carpet: Use solution of 1 teaspoon liquid dishwashing or fabric detergent and 1 teaspoon white vinegar to 1 quart warm water. Rinse and blot dry. Repeat if necessary. Adding a splash of ammonia may help.
