Savannah Bananas Return in 2026
When the Savannah Bananas came to Cincinnati in the summer of 2025, they played two sold-out games at Great American Ball Park. Cincy was absolutely swept-up with banana fever! Bananas were seemingly everywhere and it felt like every outfit worn downtown around GABP was primarily yellow for a full two days.
To piggyback off of that huge success, the Savannah Bananas will return to the ‘Nati for THREE days of games in 2026. The festivities will take place June 19th-21st as the Savannah Bananas take on the newest banana ball team, the Indianapolis Clowns.
One of the most influential teams in the Negro Leagues, the original Clowns baseball team was founded in the late 1930’s before settling down in Indianapolis in 1943. They were not only remarkably talented athletes, the players were also entertaining! The team played their last game in 1989… until now! The team is back and playing entertaining, remarkably athletic baseball in the banana ball fashion.
The Savannah Banana vs. Indianapolis Clowns games will take place at Great American Ball Park, which seats 45,814 people, in 2026. While that seems like a lot of seats, don’t wait to get put on the ticket waitlist! With crazy antics, choreographed dances and serious fun, these games will definitely sell-out again.
