Get your street Italian on and run to Piada! I recently had the opportunity to try new menu items and it did not disappoint. The new items include: Mediterranean Piada, Bacon & Blue Salad, Power Bowl, Roasted Tomato Pomodoro Pasta and the option of penne pasta!

Piada has a location in Florence, Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio. I visited the Florence location and my visit was top-notch. The chef was accommodating, the staff were friendly, the restaurant was very clean and they were COVID-19 cautious.

I ordered the improved Vegan Power Bowl (harissa grain blend, hummus, roasted sweet potatoes, sweet corn and tomato, roasted broccoli, cucumber salad, pickled red onions and yogurt harissa). The bowl blended well together and was bursting with flavor – especially the quinoa and hummus. I loved the colors of the bowl as it was aesthetically pleasing. My husband ordered the Mediterranean Piada (Italian-style street wrap with harissa grain blend, arugula, hummus, cucumber salad, pickled red onions, bruschetta tomatoes, feta and basil aioli) and he added grilled chicken and avocado. He said it tasted fresh and flavorful!

As for my three-year-old son, he even tried a bite of hummus which is worthy to be noted because he has a difficult time with new foods! The other new menu items include the Bacon & Blue Salad (mixed greens, arugula, red cabbage, brown rice and quinoa, blue cheese, pancetta, roasted sweet potatoes, dried cranberries and cider vinaigrette); and Pomodoro Pasta (spaghetti or penne pasta, pomodoro sauce, herb roasted tomato and grated parmesan). Both items sound and look delicious!

Piada offers dine-in, curbside pickup and delivery. Additional information can be found at mypiada.com. I look forward to my next family outing at Piada Italian Street Food! Let us know what new menu item you would like to try in the comments below!
