Nature Scavenger Hunt at Woodland Mound

Daily in June / FREE / a valid Great Parks vehicle permit is required to enter the park

Head indoors to hunt for summer fun themed images throughout all 3 floors of the nature center. Turn completed scavenger hunts in for a prize. The nature center has many hands on activities for kids, lots of information about the world around us and even a few animal ambassadors on display, too.

If the weather is nice, head to the playground or even the splash park nearby (daily admission applies to splash park- season passes available)

Your Metro Parks

Creeking in the Parks / Thursdays at 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. / FREE
