Sea of Smiles will collect letters to be placed in baskets in hotel rooms for families staying in town for the Team Fastrax Warrior Weekend To Remember event, coming in July. The event will honor Purple Heart Warriors who were injured in combat, as well as fallen Hero Gold Star families.
Just have your child write a short note of appreciation or draw a picture (and include one of your own, too!) for a family who has lost a loved one in combat. Email your letter to staff@seaofsmilesdds.com or drop it off at their office through June 29: 1319 Nagel Road.
Be sure to address your letters/pictures to one of the following:
Army Purple Heart, Marine Purple Heart, Navy Purple Heart, Air Force Purple Heart, Gold Star Family
