My son and I had a fantastic day at Eden Park in Cincinnati. A real treasure – walking paths, water, views of the Queen City and the Ohio River. There are many landmarks within the park, including Hinkle Magnolia Garden, a picturesque gazebo, memorial tree groves and paths, Mirror Lake, and the Bettman Fountain. We planned a picnic under the trees and got a chance to feed the ducks! (If you put a piece of bread in your palm the Geese will grab it!) We then ventured off to the play area and broke a sweat! If you’re traveling through, I suggest driving through the lower overlook at minimum. If you have the time, drive to the upper overlook and follow with a short drive up toward the Cincinnati Art Museum, by Seasongood Pavilion, and up to historic Mt. Adams. There are also a few trails, and if you are a hearty walker, it’s a great place to get out of your car and walk through it all. In conclusion to our day, we enjoyed the amazing view of the Ohio River. Another successful day at Eden Park!
