Get outside and explore! Join Kenton County Parks & Recreation and Biologist and Educator Peggy Kelly for a hike at Doe Run Lake (1501 Bullock Pen Road, Covington) beginning at 1 p.m. on Oct. 4 (RSVP required). Peggy has hiked the area since the mid-1980’s and is exceptionally familiar with the flora and fauna of the hills surrounding the lake. The hike is medium paced to allow time for you to explore some of the Natural History of one of our most beautiful Northern Kentucky parks. Hikers ages 11 and older should bring H2O and sunscreen, wear comfortable shoes and be ready to hike for approximately two hours. Meet in the boat launch area of the parking lot.
