For the first time, the Cincinnati Observatory invites families to bring their tents and sleeping bags for an overnight campout on the Observatory’s lawn Saturday, July 27, at 8 p.m. to Sunday, July 28, 9 a.m.! Set up your tent, then take a tour of the Observatory, view the planet Venus, and enjoy some stories about constellations around a campfire. Then when the stars come out, view the skies through the historic telescope. The Observatory will be open all night for bathroom access (and use of the telescopes for those who can’t sleep!), followed by a light breakfast the next morning. Cost to camp is $15 per person for nonmembers, and $10 per member. Learn more at 513-321-5186 or cincinnatiobservatory.org — space is limited so be sure to RSVP!
