Vaccines NOT Linked to Autism

If you’re on the fence at all about vaccinating your baby … don’t be.

A new study published in the Journal of Pediatrics only days ago reveals no association between autism and the number of vaccines a child gets in one day or during the first two years of the current vaccine schedule. The researchers — including Dr. Frank DeStefano director of the Immunization Safety Office at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, are aiming to comfort expectant parents uncertain about whether or not to vaccinated their babies during the first year of life.

The new study bolsters the large amount of research that already discredits the now-retracted 1998 study in the British medical journal BMJ that suggested a link between autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and childhood vaccinations.
