Great Parks of Hamilton County offers luminary hikes to tour the park’s nighttime wildlife!
Owls hooting, bats swooping, and frogs calling can make the woods an enchanting place at night. Bring the family for a one-mile guided hike, stopping several times along the way to meet different woodland creatures. After the hike, warm up with some hot cocoa and marshmallows around the camp fire.
Head to Woodland Mount (8250 Old Kellogg Road) on Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. Due to the uneven trail surface, strollers are not recommended. The cost is $5 per person. RSVP by Nov. 13 at greatparks.org or call 513-521-7275, ext. 240. A valid Great Parks of Hamilton County Motor Vehicle Permit ($3 daily, $10 annual) is required to enter the park.
