Summer reading kicked off at KCPL, you can celebrate with them all summerlong!
-Wild Wednesdays take place at the Erlanger Branch at 7 p.m. (6:30 p.m. on June 26), and include making alien slime, creating gravity art, making straw rockets and learning the art of stage fighting with the KY Shakespeare Company.
-“A Universe of Stories” story time takes place on Mondays at 11 a.m., at the Erlanger Branch and includes crafts, hands-on activities and more to celebrate the planets, sun, moon and stars. Check out kentonlibrary.org for more information.

CCPL has educational outreach opportunities in the community this summer!
-Tower Tuesdays happen Tuesdays from 10 – 11 a.m. at Tower Park in Fort Thomas (900 S. Fort Thomas Ave.). Expect visits from a Mascot Day (June 11); Indian dance from the Cultural Center of Cincinnati (June 18); touch-a-truck (June 25).
–Jolly Thursdays take place Thursdays from 10 – 11 a.m. at AJ Jolly Park in Alexandria (1501 Racetrack Road). Honey Hill Farm (June 13); the Cultural Center of Cincinnati (June 20); and Mr. Cowpie and friends (June 27). Head to cc-pl.org for more information.
BOONE COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY (BCPL)
BCPL offers educational, entertaining and free programming all summerlong!
-On Wednesdays in June from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m., the Main Library in Burlington (1786 Burlington Pike) has Full STEAM Ahead, a hands-on program for children in grades K – 5. Themes include Earth science, chemical reactions, body science and engineering. To register, call 859-342-2665.
-On Friday, June 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Scheben Branch (8899 US 42, Union) Mr. Molecule will present, “Big Blast of Space,” a program that explores the basic concepts of astronomy from molecules to the Milky Way. Head to bcpl.org for more information.
