Don’t miss bringing your older children for a simulated Journey of Freedom using a locally recognized path of the underground railroad on the evening of February 17 at LaBoiteaux Woods Nature Center (5400 Lanius Lane).
March Maple Madness is a highlight for both west and east side families as they enjoy pancakes with pure maple syrup at Maple in Mt. Airy Forest on March 3 (5083 Colerain Ave.) or Pancakes in California Woods (5400 Kellogg Ave.) on March 18 . Get a good start to your Spring Break with a stop at Caldwell Nature Preserve on March 26 for live mammal encounters and activity stations.
