It’s time to get some sleep! Junior Cuts Salon (885 State Route 28, Milford) welcomes local mom and author Anna Richardson, who will read and sign copies of her book, SleeperHero. The popular book tells the tale of a boy named Luke who has trouble falling asleep and staying in his big boy bed at night. But when Luke meets a new friend — his own SleeperHero — something wonderful happens. SleeperHero uses his super powers to protect Luke, chase away monsters, and teach him how to sleep.
The story time begins at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20. Make a morning of it! Richardson’s books and dolls will be available for purchase from 10 – 11 a.m. (books are $19.99 plus tax, while SleeperHero dolls are $34 plus tax and a book and doll set are $49.99 plus tax). Kids can also take advantage of Recreations Outlet’s Charitable Play day, and play on the indoor playground and play sets for a $2 donation.
