When it’s time for bed, there’s not much of a hassle getting my kids IN the bed. Usually, the only bumps in the routine road are those leading up to bedtime … like brushing their teeth, jammies and such. If my kids had it their way, they would just fall into bed with whatever they had on without so much as a look at the toothbrush!

But, you know … I’d do the same thing too if I wanted to. By 8 p.m. each night, the kids (AND myself) are fast asleep! After 10 hours of snoozing, 6 a.m. is our wake up time … and they do NOT want to get out of that comfy, cozy warm bed. Just this morning my 5-year-old stood up and got dressed for school quickly. Only for me to come to check on him and find him back to sleep in his bed … fully dressed. This was after I had my shower and got ready myself, so that meant there were only a few minutes left before we had to run out the door!

How can they be so tired? Grant it, my oldest still has sleep walking issues (even after surgery). But my youngest, sleeps and sleeps and sleeps! He always has. Even on the uneventful days where he didn’t use much of his energy. I would really love to know what’s keeping them down for the count.

Well, all this talk of sleep has me … s … l … e … e … p … y …………………zzzzz
