Hubbard Update!

My daughter has been doing swim lessons for four months now and is doing great. She always looks forward to them and asks me almost every day when she gets to go again.  I have noticed that what she has learned at swim lessons is carrying over to recreational swim when we go to the pool.  She applies the skills she has learned and is very confident in the pool. This has helped me to be more relaxed when I take both of my kids by myself.
Up to this point she has mastered such things as learning to float on her back and complete a rollover.  She has also earned two ribbons.  Whenever a student reaches a benchmark the staff makes a loud announcement to celebrate their achievement.  Also, she has learned how to jump into the pool correctly and the instructors frequently review basic water safety.  Most of what she has worked on up to this has been water safety and survival skills but the progression is leading towards learning strokes.
I am so impressed with the program and love that my daughter is having fun while learning an important skill that will carry over with her throughout her life whether she goes on to competitive swimming or enjoys recreational swimming.  The staff are super friendly and the facility is very impressive. I would highly recommend the Hubbard Swim School at Kids First to anyone!
