Fun on the Fourth of July

When it comes to Fourth of July events, there's plenty of family fun to pick from. Check these out!

Loads of parades and festivals are happening around town onf Friday, July 4, here are a few in your neighborhoods, and be sure to visit our Things To Do for more Fourth of July fun!

• The City of Edgewood starts the day with a 7:30 a.m. 5K run, followed by a parade. Head to Freedom Park 550 Freedom Park Drive, Edgewood) in the evening for a free concert and fireworks show. Visit edgewoodky.gov.

• The City of Ft. Mitchell hosts an afternoon parade, beginning at the Children’s Home on Orphanage Road (200 Home Drive, Ft. Mitchell). Visit fortmitchell.com.

• The Sisters of Notre Dame (1601 Dixie Hwy., Covington) host their 92nd annual 4th of July festival from 2 – 7 p.m. Visit sndky.org.

• Check out Ft. Thomas’ car show, games, rides and fireworks from 4 – 11 p.m. at Tower Park (Douglas Drive, Ft. Thomas). Visit ftthomas.org.
