A visit to the Indianapolis Children’s Museum to see what’s new…

[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”38″ display=”basic_slideshow”]What family visit to Indianapolis would be complete without a stop by the world famous Indianapolis Children’s Museum?

With dinosaurs erupting from the building and sprawling into the streets, this place captures kids imaginations from the start. Hands-on, child-friendly exhibits make this museum a stand out favorite. There are dinosaurs, trains, a carousel, a whole outdoor experience … the list goes on and on…

But what’s new?

Take Me There: Greece opened in June and has been immersing museum guests in a culture rich world filled with new sights and sounds. There is tons to see and do in this new exhibit. This exhibit really is a sensory experience through Greece! Hear and play the music. Meet friends from Greece and discover what their lives are like. Learn the history. See what foods Greek families enjoy. Even help rescue cute baby sea turtles!  Overall, this exhibit is colorful, cultural and super cool – Greece is a great new part of the Indy Children’s Museum experience.

To accompany Take Me There: Greece, there is also a new special exhibit! Treasures of Ancient Greece takes guests back in time to explore artifacts like jewelry, armor, vases, sculptures and more. Kids can use their inspiration and creativity to craft mosaics, design a temples and a vase. They can also get hands on with many other components.
