Behringer-Crawford Museum Brings History to Life

See Civil War history spring to life during “Civil War Park Day” at the Behringer-Crawford Museum (1600 Montague Ave. in Covington). The free event (parking’s free, too) takes place Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. where the NaturePlay area will be transformed with reenactors of all kinds including Union and Confederate soldiers and civilians. General Ulysses S. Grant speaks at 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m.

A historical hike to Battery Bates is lead by the museum’s Associate Archaeologist Jeannine Kreinbrink at 1:30 p.m. (space is limited for the hike; reservations are required). Call 859-491-4003 for hike reservations or visit bcmuseum.org for more information.
