Last year’s storms drove many to a fun evening of trick-or-treating at the Boone County Public Library, and the events’s success has led the Library to offer it again this year!

The Florence (7425 US 42, Florence) and Scheben branches (8899 US 42, Union) and the Main Library (1786 Burlington Pike) will be open for trick-or-treating on Halloween night, Oct. 31, from 6 – 8 p.m.  The Library will give away bookmarks and pencils, parents should bring the candy and the kids!  Tables will be set up for parents to use when handing out candy — just choose a spot and wait for the little ghouls and goblins to arrive (please note that the Library cannot accept donations of candy).
