“Mommy, can I open my sleeping bag now? Pleasse?”
I heard these words for three days straight. My four year old, Eva, had been begging for a slumber party and movie night on our living room floor with her new purple Team Magnus Tundra Wolf sleeping bag. Friday night couldn’t have came any sooner – she proudly insisted she open her sleeping bag, roll it out and set it up in her favorite spot.
These high-quality, cushiony sleeping bags come with a protectant cover, and what my kids loved the most, was the fact they could easily roll it up on their own and place it in the nifty carrying case that fit comfortably on their back. I was pleased with this easy function, too – the worst thing is to have a sleeping bag that awkwardly fits back in the original bag.
After the movie, Eva fell fast asleep and was up and ready to conquer the next day. Of course, she had to roll up her bag and take it to her next destination.
With the rare, warm fall weather this month, the kids were able to lay outside and enjoy some star gazing. My 9 year old loves to get out his telescope and get a good look at the moon, and this time he was very interested in the star constellation images on his sleeping bag cover. This cover helps protect the cozy bags from the dewy grass or any of mother nature’s finest amenities.
