Girl Scouts: Your Year of Adventure

Looking for a place where your girl can connect, learn and grow? That’s how Girl Scouts got started more than 100 years ago, and even though some of the activities have changed, girls still meet friends, try new things and challenge themselves today!

Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Girls can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges – whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends.

Girl Scouts is a place where all girls belong. In Greater Cincinnati, more than 13,000 girls in grades K-12, from all backgrounds and abilities, are growing and learning while giggling and laughing as part of Girl Scouts. Supported by 5,000+ adults, there is a place in Girl Scouts for every girl.

Ready to join? You can start any time of year, so now is a great time! Details at gswo.org/getstarted.

What do Girl Scouts do?

Among a wide range of programs offered, Girl Scouts decide what they want to explore – there is a little something for everyone! Here are some examples of activities girls have done here in Cincinnati:

  • Go on fun field trips
