Shopping with kids can be a nightmare. My boys are 3 and 5, and I am sorry to be honest, but it doesn’t get any easier. They can get very anxious after a shopping trip lasts a little too long. For the most part, the boys still sit in the cart. The little one sits in the front seat and my big kid inside the cart. I am a helicopter parent and proud! My kids will probably be in the cart until they’re 15. Today’s world is way too scary!
To make things easier I recently found this amazing shopping hack. This adorable tray makes shopping with the kids so much more exciting! This tray has two separate compartments: I split it up as one side for each boy. The tray comes with a lid that snaps on tightly for transporting snacks. This tight lid comes in handy for things that could leak like fruit and berries. They love when I surprise them with the snack tray!
A recent trip to Sam’s Club was a game changer with the snap and shop! I love Sam’s because hello, I get to buy coffee in bulk … but really because the boys can sit together. The kids colored and snacked and I got to actually think while I was shopping. Heck yes! This is a favorite for the boys and mama too! I wish I would have found this product when they were younger, but it still has lots of life to give us. We are at the grocery way too much. We love to cook together so the grocery store is our playground.
