We’re Off to See the Wizard! The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra and The Carnegie team up this month for a production of Frank Baum’s and Harold Arlen’s The Wizard of Oz. Cheer up your child’s gray January days with a visit to Emerald City, complete with Dorothy, the Scarecrow and a colorful cast of characters. The “lightly staged” production aims to center the show on music and storytelling, rather than plentiful props or costume changes. Families can enjoy weekend performances from Jan. 21 – 31; tickets are $30 ($27 for Carnegie or Enjoy the Arts members, $21 for students). A family ticket package is also available.
