Fall is a fabulous time to learn and play with the family! There are two brand-new local opportunities for everyone in your crew to explore — check them out this month:

Cincinnati Parks recently renovated the Westwood Town Hall Park (3017 Harrison Ave., Cincinnati). This fenced-in playground is perfect for youngsters to climb and slide the day away on, and kids can get creative while imagining dragons, knights and princesses on this playset that looks somewhat like a castle. The Westwood Branch Library is located nearby (3345 Epworth Ave., Cincinnati), so head to Westwood for a full day of fun with the family! Visit cincyrec.org for more information.

Great Parks of Hamilton County is happy to introduce a new place for families to play and learn. The Nature Center at The Summit (1580 Summit Road, Cincinnati) has open house hours Sunday and Monday (11 a.m. – 3 p.m.) as well as lots of educational nature programs offered. This new nature center is home to animal ambassadors that park-goers can get up close and personal with, as well as fun hands-on nature crafts and activities for families to enjoy together.
